Having Problems With Your Battery?
So are you get Low Battery Alerts from your tracker? Or getting to your Motorhome / Camper and the battery is flat....
* Motorhomes and Camper Vans are prone to getting flat batteries, Why? because these vehicles by design aren't used on a daily basis. Unfortunately the batteries and electrical systems still see these vehicles as a commercial vehicle, this means it's designed to be used on a daily basis. On average your battery should last between 2 and 3 weeks without any use, if your getting this then unfortunately everything is normal. Less than 2 weeks then investigation maybe required.
You will always be told that if you have an alarm or tracker installed, then this is the cause of your power drain... without investigation this simply can not be confirmed.
If you only have a Tracker installed, then it is highly unlikely that this will be the cause of your power drain. A tracker will only take typically 0.08mA. Manufacturers will say anythink upto a 0.80A drain is normal on a vehicle. This means the tracker would take months to drain your battery.
